PB: Anna Silk
Journal:
succubestie
Age: 30ish
Appearance: Bo is a gorgeous woman with voluptuous curves, and she stand at about 5’6”, though you’re unlikely to catch her without heels on. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes, though her eyes turn a glowing icy blue when feeding or using her deeper Fae abilities. Her body language is almost always very confident, with her shoulders back and her chin up, and she is fond of direct eye contact.
History: Wikia Link
Powers/Talents:
Feeding: In addition to normal food, as a succubus, Bo has to feed off of sexual energy/life force/chi. She does this by sucking this energy out through the mouth of the victim. It is physically draining on the victim as well, as she’s directly tapping into their body’s energy, and taking too much will result in their death. Fae are much more capable of handling being fed off of, while humans are not. Bo has quite a bit of control over this ability, and knows when to stop, and she can even take just enough to knock the person unconscious.
Bo can also reverse this process and give chi via the mouth, which was shown previously in order to save a person from dying, but more recently has been shown to revive someone from death even though they were not killed by a succubus.
Feeding also has the extra bonus of vastly improving her reaction times and physical prowess, and allows her to heal from nearly any wound at incredible speed. In times of need, Bo has also been shown to feed off of an entire group of people at once without physical contact. Doing so requires her to access her ‘other side,’ which used to make her lose herself temporarily, though she has gained control of this since her Dawning.
Auras: Bo can sense how much lust a person is feeling, as well as the general sexual energy in a room based on the auras around her.
Enamor: By touching a person, Bo can incite their feelings of love and lust, essentially temporarily enthralling them and controlling their actions. With this ability, she can usually get a person to literally tell her anything she wants, which is helpful in interrogation. She can also get them to do almost anything, attack their friends, hand over the keys to their car, calm down, etc. This doesn’t always work, especially in other fae with a high willpower or similar abilities in the sexual side of things, but humans are almost always incredibly susceptible (though she wasn’t able to convince a homosexual security guard to fall for her).
Blood Enthralling: Injecting or otherwise infecting someone with her blood makes them her thrall and essentially binds them to her will. They are unable to go against her wishes, and feel compelled to protect her with their life. This is reversible through a simple ritual.
Longevity: Though not immortal, Bo will potentially live for thousands of years so long as she isn’t killed by unnatural means.
Superior combat skills with both weapons and hand-to-hand.
Personality:
Unlike the vast majority of the fae, Bo grew up among humans. Not only that, but she thought she was one of them, up until the time she turned 18, her abilities manifested, and she killed her boyfriend the night she lost her virginity. Until recently, she’s been on the run ever since, not knowing what she was, and accidentally killing another person each time she grew hungry enough to need to feed.
While Bo has learned to enjoy being a succubus now that she is aware of her abilities and gained control, she’s also fiercely protective of humans, having spent nearly her entire life among them. Due to this, when the fae required her to choose between the light and the dark and become fully integrated into their world, she refused, instead choosing ‘humans.’ This leaves her unaligned, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage when it comes to functioning in the world of the fae. Fortunately, Bo is incredibly independent, only completely relying on herself, though she had grown to embrace a select group of people upon which she places her trust and asks for help.
Her best friend Kenzi has become like a sister to her. She’s the person she knows she can rely on through thick and thin, and though sometimes Bo can be selfish and unaware of what’s going on in Kenzi’s life, when her friend truly needs her, Bo is always there in an instant. Generally, this happens when Kenzi is already in a life-or-death situation, but Bo has proven again and again that she’d give up her life to save her best friend.
Dyson comes second in her line of friends as people she can trust. He was the first person she opened up to romantically in a very, very long time, and despite attempting to keep things casual, they both fell in love with one another. When Dyson gave up his love in order to give her strength in the fight against her insane mother and fellow Succubus, Bo only felt more for him, seeing that he’d given up the thing that was most important to him to save her. The knowledge that his love for her was more important to him than even his wolf was not lost on her. Though she’s aware that Dyson’s love for her has been returned, there is the complication of Lauren, the other romantic love in her life.
Bo’s relationship with Lauren has been on and off over the course of the series, but she remains important to her. She cannot say that she isn’t or wasn’t in love with her, but the difficulty of being a succubus in a relationship with a human is grossly complicated on its own, and was compounded with the fact that Lauren has a duty to serve the Ash, the leader of the light fae. Add in the fact that she has not always been truthful with Bo during the time they’ve known one another and it’s something of a mess.
Bo has also craved a true family since her own adoptive mother disowned her, and this need wasn’t helped in any way when her mother turned out to be violent and insane. However, finding out that Trick was her grandfather gave her that blood family that she’d been craving, in the form of a man that she’d already seen as a good friend and father-figure. Trick is intensely important to her, and she relies on him for advice and guidance. She leaned on him the most when she prepared for her Dawning, which he helped her pass by the skin of her teeth.
Bo is an incredibly faithful, loving person with a fierce attitude and a dislike for authority. She doesn’t play by the rules, and prides herself on that fact. She refuses to watch injustice without acting to fix it, even though it consistently gets her into trouble and potentially fatal situations. However, Bo is so used to a life of action and adrenaline that she may even enjoy it, though she might not always admit it. Fortunately, she has a network of friends who support her, and she would literally do anything to help them and keep them safe.
Why would your character be chosen? In Bo’s world, her very existence is the definition of standing out. She is stronger than most Fae and has a undeniable amount of sex appeal. People almost always either lover her or hate her, but she inspires emotion in everyone she meets, whether good or bad.
How much does your character know about nonhumans? Bo is very familiar with supernatural species, being part of a community that is full of them. Her grandfather’s secret identity is one of the old past leaders of the Fae, and so Bo has access to a huge amount of artifacts and books detailing different species of supernatural creatures. Given her profession (she’s a Fae private investigator of sorts), no doubt she’s been doing a lot of research since gaining access to his information.
Why this character: I’ve been playing Bo for a while now. She an incredibly strong and independent character, with a voice that demands to be heard, and I find her compelling to play. Her ability to be social and make friends, all while shoving her nose into anything and everything makes her fun in game settings, especially ones with metaplot. She has the ability to gain a lot of different kinds of CR as well, making her very playable.

Alright, Wanderer. I’m seriously getting sick of your shit.
I don’t have time for these games you apparently want to play right now. There are things going on that I need to deal with and people I need to find, and sending me wherever the hell this is is only going to make me mad, which means bad things for you.
Am I supposed to be impressed? All this looks like to me is hiding, since you don’t even have the balls to show yourself. I’m right here just waiting! You want me so bad, then come and get me, don’t just drop me off in Atlantis or wherever the hell this is.
